Lately, I've been reading a book about Laurel Canyon and its impact on the LA Music scene through the 70s. It's fitting that while reading said book, we're able to bring you "That Bird" by Sammy Mellman. Taking strong influences from LA folk-rock from the 60s and 70s, this multi-instrumentalist presents a tried and true formula humbly and whimsically modernized.
